Mirror Land - Batumi Photodays Festival & Suwon International Photo Festival, 2019

Contributor to Suwon International Photo Festival, in collaboration with Mirror//Land Exhibition, Batumi Photodays Festival - part of the International Exchange Exhibitions 2019.

'Mirror Land', Batumi Photodays 2019 was conceptualised in reflection of global political situations at the time. The reflectional pieces were provided by differing artists private stories, and their own countries examples, each displayed in two exhibitions that year.

The exhibition(s) envisaged to bring personal experience of the artists from around the globe, to reflect the issues in their countries, in relevance to the main concept of the Photo days project; injustice and the realities people are forced to live in, or any other significant stories that will make us stop and think of why we are here what can we do with our life, how can we contribute the world to make if a better place. 

"Each small drop, a small seed can change something, each small story can reach out someone, and find a reflection in their hearts. It’s a matter of choice whenever we wanna live in reflection or reality."
